Have fun learning to place objects in space

Карточки игры Багагаж.

In this colorful and fun board game, children will have to place different things inside suitcases so as to make the most of the interior space and place as many items as possible. Such activity contributes to the active formation of spatial thinking. And among the usual "tourist" things there are quite extraordinary ones: for example, a cat, a birch log or a wizard's hat :) This makes the process not only useful, but also fun!

From simple spatial problems to basic geometry

You can play in "Baggage" with kids from 4 years old. The game has three options for the rules and two levels of difficulty: for children from 4 and from 6 years old. The first two versions of the game are cooperative, without a competitive aspect: in them, players need to cooperate to achieve a common result. The third version of the rules is competitive and brings the thrill of fighting into the gameplay. While playing, children are constantly exploring options for the location of objects of different shapes, comparing their sizes, looking for ways to place them. This creates important prerequisites for mastering the school geometry course in the future.

The task of the players is to put as many things as possible in their suitcases.

  1. All suitcases are placed in a circle in the center of the table. Inside this circle, piles of things are laid out (4 things in each). A chip is placed on any suitcase.

  2. The players take turns throwing a dice and step their tokens over the suitcases. Where the chip stopped - they take that suitcase for themselves. The next player starts where the previous player left off. Thus, the players collect 3 suitcases for themselves.

  3. Players take turns. The youngest goes first. Places a chip on any pile with things, rolls a die and moves through the piles. From the pile where the chip stopped, he chooses any thing and puts it in his suitcase. The next player also rolls the dice, and the steps start from the same pile where the previous player left off.

  4. Players continue to pack for themselves as long as they can put them in their suitcases. The player must have time to pack all the things taken, until it is his turn to walk again. Didn't have time - dropped out.
  5. When all players are out of the game, each player counts their folded items. Whoever has the most, he won.
