The Biomecanics Biogateo shoe is built on a wide anatomical last, developed in collaboration with the Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia (IBV); the nubuck leather upper allows full freedom of toe movement and removes pressure on wide or full feet. The microperforated On-Steam lining, made from thermoregulating microfibre, lets the skin breathe and wicks away moisture, while a soft external lateral stabilizer supports the heel without restricting the ankle joint. Durable rubber toe protection and a removable, antibacterial, breathable insole complete the construction, and a wide opening with two adjustable hook-and-loop straps makes putting the shoe on quick and easy. The materials are hypoallergenic and free from chromium and heavy metals.
